In Memory

Kim Barre (Kryzak)

Kim Barre (Kryzak)

Kimberly A. Kryzak, 48, of Kinsman, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 in the Morris Hospital ER. Born March 31, 1970 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Robert and Gloria Barre of Coal City.
Kimberly married David Kryzak on November 16, 1995 in a small ceremony and happily renewed their vows after 15 years. While raising 3 beautiful children she somehow developed a fascination with time, leading to a collection of clocks. The ticking wall contained a clock set to the time of each child’s birth, and several other major events in her life. Suffering from personal issues Kimberly was still able to be an unforgettable amazing Mom, caregiver, and wife. No one in this world will be missed as much and thought of as often. All who had the privilege of meeting her fell in love with her warmth.
Survived by her husband David and three children, Jade, Indiana and Maya; one brother Ryan Weikum; and birth mother, Barbara Budniakiewicz.
Preceded in death by her in-laws, George and Gloria Kryzak.
Visitation and Memorial Service will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the U.C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home.

From Mary Jo Walsh-Watson:
Kim and I have remained friends over all the years past high school. We shared not only old memories but the struggles of raising children with autism. I have a son who is Deaf/Autistic and 2 of 3 of Kim’s children have Autism.  We discussed the school I built for children with Autism and things we would like to do. I am terribly saddened by her death and I want her memory as a mother’s love to go on.  I am raising funds to create a water fountain on our school playground where we can surround it with flowers and painted rocks to decorate. Please join me in raising funds for this event and the children at our school. We are a not for profit and all donations are tax deductible. You may visit our website at www.msainc.org. Thank you for your support and for helping to create an ongoing memory of Kim and other families who struggle to raise children on the Autism Spectrum. God Bless.

So sad to see this. Kim was a truly funny person. Would have not passed that damn constitution test if not for her.

Kim was so funny & had a huge heart. In 8th grade I would bargain with her at lunch for her bologna & cheese sandwich. One day she just started bringing two sandwiches...one for her & one for me. Such a sweet loving soul. You will be dearly missed, my friend.
